Superfood, supergut

Even if we think chocolate or pizza are great - when it comes to vitamins, minerals, proteins, fatty acids and antioxidants, other foods are more convincing, especially superfoods. Foods such as chia seeds are exceptionally nutritious. At 20 percent, they contain twice as much protein as other grains. A superfood is wholesome, as natural as possible and preferably organically grown. Ideally, superfoods should be eaten raw, i.e. not heated above 42 degrees. This preserves important enzymes.

A great day with superfoods

In the morning:

Ginger tea with turmeric
Add fresh berries with a mix of aronia berries and pomegranate seeds to the muesli and sprinkle a spoonful of grape seed flour and baobab fruit powder on top.

Mid-morning snack: green smoothie with lots of green leafy vegetables, a few oregano leaves and a daily dose of acerola powder

Lunch:

Dressing for lunchtime salad seasoned with horseradish (a cruciferous vegetable), plus broccoli, another type of cabbage or shiitake mushroom. Season rice with curcuma.

In the afternoon:

One or two glasses of pomegranate juice

Evening:

On wholemeal bread: avocado puree with oregano, plus a portion of raw sauerkraut with a spoonful of hemp oil

Snack:

Pumpkin seeds or almonds

Green leafy vegetables

These include wild plants such as dandelion and nettle, grasses such as barley grass, moringa, lettuce, spinach, celery leaves, parsley, basil, lemon balm and algae (spirulina, chlorella, AFA). The green leafy vegetables are filling and provide us with almost all the nutrients we need: Proteins, vital substances and omega-3 fatty acids. Even a slightly higher daily consumption of green food leads to an improvement in well-being thanks to the secondary plant substances, vitamins, minerals, trace elements and chlorophyll in particular. They are also rich in calcium, magnesium and iron as well as folic acid, beta-carotene, vitamin C and vitamin K, and are also easily absorbed.
