Vino C® - OPC is a food supplement made from grape seed concentrate and acerola powder, which is available in capsules. It offers a synergistic combination of nutrients from grape seeds and acerola cherries. Vino C® - OPC mainly provides high-quality natural vitamin C from the acerola cherry and OPC, oligomeric proanthocyanidins, which are polyphenols from grape seeds.
The grape seed contains a range of secondary plant substances, particularly interesting is its content of the compound OPC. Oligomeric proanthocyanidins, also known as oligomeric procyanidins (OPC for short), are naturally occurring substances in plants that belong to the group of flavanols (a subclass of flavonoids). These in turn are classified as secondary plant substances, which are used by plants as defense substances against harmful external, environmental stresses, among other things.
Acerola comes from South America and is characterized by its high vitamin C content. In combination with the other bioactive ingredients of the fruit, this results in a composition that has a cell-protecting effect due to its antioxidant capacity. Our high-quality acerola powder has a natural vitamin C content of at least 17%.
